For the tattoo ^, I found an image online and used photoshop to edit the image so its used the Gestalt principle of closure. I then printed it, drew it, and colored it.
This is the poster I created. I used the Gestalt principle of continuation by connecting the tree and the girl. Since the background image is very detailed, I had a bit of trouble with this one due to the issue of font color (Im still trying to learn Photoshop as well...), but I think it came out well.
