04 - Alli Schaaff: Final T-Shirt Design

In approaching my final t-shirt design, I faced one problem: maintaining the unity of the eyes while somehow injecting color. I wanted a design that prominently featured the creepy arachnid eyes, but suggested through a playful touch of color that they are nothing to be afraid of. Tampering with the all-black scheme of the eyes weakened the design's sense of unity, so I chose to add color in the text. Hopefully by wearing this shirt around a bit and seeing my reflection, I'll be able to socialize myself to those blank, staring... *shudder.*
