1- M Junck: Art as Communication

I think art is a means of expression, but more importantly a means of communication.    The message of the art can very from "I would be a really comfy couch to sit on" to "Life as a housewife is dull and caged." to "There is beauty in this world."  And the artist and the viewer don't need to be on the same page.  How often do art critics go "Wow, I see how the movements converging on the bomb really comment on the imminency of change in the human condition." and the artist replies, "Yeah...that."  People often get the exact opposite message from the same piece, and often neither interpretation is 'wrong.'

I am posting the art of Banksy, an unidentified grafitti artist whose work can now be found in museums and in alleyways.
