I decided to try to reverse the process of tree to paper by creating a tree out of paper. I wanted to kind of show how a tree is first debarked, then boiled and bleached before being made into actual paper. I didn't have time to finish the whole thing so it's missing a lot of the details that I see in my mind, but I think you can get the basic idea from these pictures.
Brook, this came out really nicely! Even though you didn't get the chance you bring it to your desired level of completion, to me it feels like a finished piece. I especially love the side view in the third picture where you can see the details of the branches. After seeing this in all stages of production, I like the end result. It's beautiful and succeeds in sending a message.
